I WOULD LIKE TO SAY A HUGE THANKYOU TO THE GTS FRIENDS WHO TAKE THE TIME TO LIGHT CANDLES, WRITE BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTES AND LEAVE LOVELY PHOTOS FOR MY GRAN AND SHOW ME SO MUCH SUPPORT,I AM TRULY GRATEFUL.
My Gran Was Born & Brought up In Hatton a small village just 9 miles south of Peterhead, 26 miles north of Aberdeen.
She came from a large family, she was the youngest of 13 children.
My Gran Was named Magdaline when she was born, But everyone knew her as Lena ~ She prefered everyone to call her Lena.
She worked all her days at "simmers of Hatton" A bakery known for their famous Biscuits. She retired when she turned 60.
I loved my Gran so much, she was so special to me as she was the only grandparent I had. I remember every saturday night i would go and stay with her, After my dad died, her and Mum were all I had left. The 3 of us were so close. I Miss Her terribly.
My Gran Died From a Massive Heart Attack on the 18th of July 1987.
My Gran was cremated and her ashes scattered at Aberdeen Crematorium.
To My special Gran Lena, You were the best gran ever and I miss you so much.

With memories of how things used to be
